ANIMALS AND DEATH
We are happy to announce ‘Animals and Death’, organised by the Animals and Philosophy Exploration Collective at the University of Leeds. Animals and Death is a one day philosophy conference on the topic of the moral problems surrounding animals and death. The conference will be held on 27th September 2016 at the University of Leeds. This event is open to all, papers for presentation are welcomed from individuals who have not completed doctoral research or who taken their doctoral viva no more than 3 years prior to the CFA closing date.
The conference keynote speaker will be Alasdair Cochrane of the University of Sheffield.
All speakers will receive a £30 travel bursary and have one night’s accommodation and their conference meal covered. Lunch will also be provided for all attendees. (Postgraduate students currrently studying at the University of Leeds are ineligble for the £30 travel bursary).
