Contact Lucy Osler for more information.

The aim of this two-day workshop is to consider the relationship between feelings of belonging and affective spaces. We seek to chart the various ways in which experiences such as group experience, political engagement, isolation, interpersonal atmospheres and online sociality manifest in relation to how social space is experienced and navigated. The format of the workshop will consist of a mixture of presentations and complementary round-table discussions. The workshop will approach this theme in a broad manner, engaging with: (i) theoretical issues, (ii) applied issues, as well as (iii) normative and political issues.
