Workshop on Translational Animal Bioethics

The aim of this workshop is to identify strategies for increasing the connections between cutting-edge academic bioethics and practical decision-making in animal research.
The aim of this workshop is to identify strategies for increasing the connections between cutting-edge academic bioethics and practical decision-making in animal research. Bringing together individuals with experience in bioethics, animal research, animal research oversight, lab animal veterinary medicine, and animal welfare science, participants will discuss recent developments in ethics and animal bioethics, the implications of those developments for the ethics of animal research, and strategies for increasing the connections between bioethics and the day-to-day practice and oversight of animal research.
